Windy City Operafest is announcing the online audition for Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky, a semi-staged opera production directed by Dr. Viktoria Vizin with piano accompaniment.
(November 29th — December 14th)

All the chosen participants will have the opportunity to sing in Russian! Coaching will be provided by native speakers.

We are still accepting Baritone applicants. The extended deadline is September 30, 2024.

Tuition fee:

• $1,500 for principal role: Eugene Onegin, Vladimir Lensky, Tatyana Larina, Olga Larina

• $1,200 for supporting role combined with chorus part: Prince Gremin, Madame Larina (mother), Filippyevna (a nurse), Triquet (a Frenchman), Zaretsky, Captain

• $900 for chorus and role study

• All tuition fee must be paid as follows: a deposit of $300 by October 1, 2024 and the remaining amount in two equal installments on the following dates: October 15, 2024 and November 1, 2024.

• Or all tuition fee can be paid in full upon acceptance by October 1, 2024.

• All deposits are non-refundable.
