Windy City Operafest is announcing the online audition for Iolanta by Tchaikovsky, a fully-staged opera production directed by Dr. Viktoria Vizin with piano accompaniment.
(December 3 — December 14, 2025)

This opportunity includes a full role study, Russian diction, music coaching, an acting workshop, and a performance. Special role mentors are Viktoria Vizin, Franco Pomponi, and Irina Feoktistova, with the collaborative pianists and vocal coaches Anastasia Antropova and Leo Radosavljevic.

Please submit a resume and a video recording. The application fee is $35. The application deadline is August 30, 2025.

Tuition fee:

• $1,400 for role: King Rene, Vaudemont, Robert, Iolanta, Marthe, Brigitta, Laura, Ibn-Hakia (a Moorish physician), Bertrand, and Almeric

• Addendum: Bertand with the role study of King Rene, Almeric with the role study of Vaudemont

• $900 for role study

• A non-refundable deposit of $300 is due within five (5) days of acceptance.

• The remaining tuition may be paid in two (2) equal installments, or, upon request, in up to six (6) installments.
