Windy City Operafest is pleased to announce applications for the Italian–Russian Vocal Workshop, taking place January 5–9, 2027, and culminating in a Final Recital on January 9 at 7:00 PM.

The five-day program will offer singers an opportunity to work intensively on Italian and Russian vocal repertoire through music coaching, diction and interpretation work, rehearsals, and performance preparation.

The workshop will include a masterclass and will conclude with a public recital featuring selected arias, opera scenes and ensembles, art songs, and Russian romances.

Application Deadline: December 1, 2026

Application Fee: $25 (non-refundable)

Tuition:

• $650 for new participants

• $590 for returning Windy City Operafest and Opera Aeterna participants.

A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due within five (5) days of acceptance and will be applied toward tuition.

Enrollment is limited to approximately 10 singers to provide substantial individual coaching and performance opportunities.
